Hi, i'm Jacobo Villegas, an User Experience and Interface Designer based in Germany with 20+ years of experience in web design of which i've spent 15 years diving into the user experience fields, always learning, guiding, leading and trying to make every website, app or interface, a better experience.

I am passionate about amazing interfaces, buttons, forms, colors, menus or anything that can help the content be the king, and the design a tool to show it.

Role

Product Manager - UX/UI Designer

Germany

Designed the complete user interface of the company’s main product.

EGGHEADS is a company with more than 30 years of experience, designing software for P.I.M. (Product Information Managers). In 2023 we decided to start a new project called ATAMYA.

I was in charge of creating the design system, interface, font selection, user journeys, and all user cases.

NOOK

Germany

Designed the complete user interface for the mobile app and website.

NOOK is a parenting app that helps track the progress of their children in several fields.

I created the conceptual design, prototypes, conducted interviews with users and created the final designs.

VW App

Role

Product Manager - UX/UI Designer

Germany

I created an improved version of the VW app for electric cars. The app could help the users view real-time information of their vehicles and manage some functions.

This app is not in production but it was a nice exercise to learn more about this field.

ImmobilienScout24

Role

I contributed to the design of a platform tailored for property owners looking to list and manage their properties on ImmobilienScout24.

My role focused on defining the main layout and establishing the design system to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation and maintain design consistency.

Additionally, I conducted user interviews to gather insights, validate design decisions, and refine the experience based on real user needs.

Ruhr24

Role

Dortmund, Germany

designed the website for Ruhr24.de and Dortmund24.de, creating a modern and user-friendly news platform.

My role included defining the main layout, developing the design system elements, and shaping the overall concept to enhance readability and engagement.

I worked closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation, maintaining consistency and usability across the platform.

BetCris

Costa Rica / U.S.

BetCris.com and Bookmaker.eu, are one of the most popular sportsbook and gambling websites.

During 7 years, i was in charge of the main designs and the design team for the company’s websites.

We also developed apps designs, advertising, merchandising and special projects.

NFL

2014

San Francisco, U.S.

I was in charge of the concept and implementation of the homepage and several internal pages for the main website and app.

This project was made with the collaboration of UX researchers, data analysts and user interviews.

Xoom

Created the prototypes of the interfaces for the mobile app and desktio version of this innovative game. The project is still under construction by developers.
